Brandon Bruce Lee: February 1st/1965-March 31st/1993 "Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an exhaustable well. And yet things only happen a certian number of times. And a very small number really. How many more times will you remember an afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon which is so deeply a part of your being that you cannot concieve of you life without it. Perhaps four or five times more. Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless. The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering. |

What the Brandon Lee Movement, or otherwise known as the BLM is all about: We (the Movement) are a group of dedicated Brandon Lee Fans, who wish to have Brandon's name remain in society today, as if he was still alive, but not exactly. Brandon always lived under the shadow of his famous father, Bruce Lee, who also died a young tragic death. We at the Brandon Lee Movement(BLM) feel it is about time that society let go of the Bruce Lee craze, so to speak, and let Brandon have his name be known.
What I am trying to say is this. It is about time society recognizes Brandon for who he was, and not just as Bruce's son. Brandon deserves more then that. Bruce and Brandon Lee DID die both under different circumstances, but it is time to stop connecting their deaths together (Bruce died of a brain edema, Brandon died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen-so how can they be connected? you tell me), and rejoice in Brandon's life. Brandon should not be only known as "The guy who died while filming The Crow" or the ever popular "Oh it was just Bruce Lee's son he was killed by Triads".
BLM does recognize Bruce did do alot in his lifetime. Fair enough. Loads of people respected and honored Bruce in life and 27 years after his death. True to the point. However when does Brandon get such recognition? When does his life which did exsist come into focus? Why does Brandon even in death have to be under that famous Lee Family Curse? BLM thinks it is about time, some 7 years after Brandon has passed, that his young life did not go in vain. We want Brandon to have the respect and recognition he rightfully deserves.It's about time Brandon's name is known. And not just as Bruce Lee's son.
The BLM(Brandon Lee Movement) wants to establish Brandon's name in society. We will do this by writing letters, sending emails, petitions, postcards, flyers, you name it.Just to have his name out there. Not spamming anything, not forcing the issue. Brandon Lee fans now have a say. We want ALL Brandon Lee fans out there to join up with the BLM to help us in our mission. Our mission is to get Brandon's name out there. The safest, easiest, legal way to do so. Brandon deserves that much.
